Celebrating its 12th year, Global Fest is an annual gathering organized by OIIA (Office of International & Immigrant Affairs) and the Global Fest Planning Committee that engages and infuses culture and community. Including an array of food, art, music, dance and fashion, this festival provides antique opportunity for our community to become one.

All are invited to celebrate the holiday with live entertainment, food trucks, music and fireworks.

Free onsite parking will be available on the premises on a first come, first served basis. Event parking will be available on the east side parking lot in front of the Aurora Municipal Center building, on the west side parking lot in front of the Aurora courthouse building and in the lower south parking lot in front of the Great Lawn. There will be signage on-site to guide you on the appropriate spaces to park. Don’t want to drive? Take the Aurora R-Line! Get dropped off at the Aurora Metro Station and take a short walk up to the event site.

The Mission of Monster Day is to celebrate monsters in our culture in a positive way that encourages imagination and creativity. 

Mark your calendar for August 23, 2025, when Monster Day takes over Downtown Greeley again!. There will be costumed monsters roaming the plazas, professional makeup demonstrations, vendor booths, food and beverages, monster makeup, face painting, music, kids activities, a costume contest and more! Plus, Distortions Unlimited will have dozens of their creations set up around the plaza ready for your epic monster photo ops.

Featuring a pumpkin patch with pumpkin decorating kits, food trucks, hay-bale maze, airbrush tattoos, and family-friendly entertainment.
